Messy fun for little Christopher…
We started classes at the Children’s Museum today, it has been a while since Christopher has taken a class… we put all our “Summer energy” in going to the park, visiting farms and being outside… now that fall is here, we will be getting dirty with paint!! ![]()
First class today, we woke up early morning, had breakfast… got clothes on and left, mommy got some coffee, Christopher got some cookies… we arrived to the museum early, about 9am… I thought it was going to be closed, come to find out… they opened at 9am and it was “empty”!!! Christopher had the chance to play with everything without being pushed by other kids… he loved it!! Class started at 10am… and painting a box was our first task, he did it perfectly… then we moved to a messy table with leaves and paint… then we had to do a “wash hands” run, after that we stamped our hands on a mat on the floor… and for the next half hour we played with seeds and pumpkins in a big box!!
As we were leaving, I asked Christopher to say “Good Bye” to the teacher… and he walked up to her and said “Good Bye Teacher”, it was adorable!!! The teacher was happy he came over and said “Good bye Christopher”… ![]()
When we left, we went out for lunch and now we are back home taking a nap… Not sure what we will do in the afternoon… park, maybe??
Apple Farm
Last Sunday we were able to go to the Apple Farm, Grandma Renee, Auntie Shawna & Parker came along… it was fun to see you and Parker walk around looking at all the trees… They had a big bouncy apple and lots of fun things to do.
While Grandma & Auntie Shawna were shopping, we walked towards the apple trees… it was too much temptation for you, and you just had to “pick” some apples( I guess the berry picking sticked with you) well, you grabbed one and 5 of them started falling off the tree… it was funny to see your face…
As we were walking away, a couple more fell too…
After “picking” apples we went out to lunch to Red Robin… I think I can honestly say that it is your favorite restaurant… chicken strips and french fries with ketchup… you even took some cherrios from Parker… and added sugar to Grandma’s Salad, after taking some of it and adding some cherrios(to giver her something crunchy to eat)… We had a fun day!!
Big Dog
Sunday we went to visit Auntie Cheri and Uncle Trevor… we had lots of fun!
We went to the park and out for lunch… and the fun-est part was that Christopher met a BIG DOG! WE have been watching “Clifford” for a while now and when he first saw him, he called him a “gato”… since that is all he had seen since he was born… it was expected, I guess… after watching Clifford, I asked Auntie Cheri if it would be ok to come over and meet Brady… she accepted and we scheduled a visit.
At first, Christopher was shy and all he wanted to do was chase the little kitty that was trying to hide… but later he was getting closer and closer to Brady and he even pet him a couple of times… later that day I asked him if he had met a dog and he said “BIG DOG, mama, BIG”… it was adorable to see his arms open and raised showing me how big it was.
We got pictures coming later…
Family Reunion
We had a family reunion at Great Grandpa Joe’s house… it was so much fun to see everyone together… ![]()
You met Brady, Trevor and Isabella… I can’t tell you how much fun you had… played with trucks and cars, hid under the table and had ice cream all over your face a couple of times… San and Joey were there too… Parker was sick, so he wasnt able to join us… you missed “the baby”… :S
We got lots of pictures… a couple of videos and tons of memories!!
Christopher enfermito…

Yesterday afternoon Christopher had a fever, he didn’t have a good night either… he woke up at 4.30am and couldn’t go back to sleep until 5.30am… he was restless and we had to watch a couple episodes of Bob the Builder… we don’t know for sure what caused the fever, but he won’t eat anything, we are trying to keep him hydrated as much as we can… tea, pediasure, watermelon, whatever he asks we give it to him just so he can have something to eat.
We just hope the fever won’t come back today and that he will feel better soon.
